Pamela Burkett Jones is the founder and CEO of Proactive Life Coaching and Consulting LLC. She is a life coach and professional/personal development consultant. Her goals are to support and encourage others to be the best they can be in life. She motivates people to move past their fears, become unstuck and challenges while inspiring them to live the life they deserve and envision.
Pamela has first hand knowledge, witnessed, or lived out many of the obstacles people face which stops them from moving forward to their desired outcomes. When it comes to achieving personal or professional development goals and even career transitioning, she has walked in those shoes. She is ready to bring others through those roadblocks in order to get them to become proactive and live the life they desire.
Formerly, Pamela worked as an criminal justice professional for thirty two years. During her previous career, she had the opportunity to meet and work with countless individuals at different stages of their lives. Twenty seven of those years, Pamela was in law enforcement serving as a police official and certified law enforcement adjunct instructor. She was honored to have developed several professional development programs and courses. She served as a content developer on multiple occasions for career advancement programs in her agency.
Pamela earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Bowie State University. She also holds two Master’s degrees in Business Organization and Security Management, as well as Human Resource Management from Webster University. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), formally trained by iPEC, an accredited institution by the International Coaching Federation.
